The Following is a reply to my Cousins continually beating people to death with the fact that if they don’t give 1/10th of the Money to God (specifically their church) they are Robbing God! While they call others Legalistic for not eating Pork or Keeping the Sabbath they Truely Believe that The Tithe isn’t a part of the Laws Of Moses, mainley because Abraham gave 1/10th of the Spoils of his War to The King Of Salem, which was before the Law was given! I explained that Cain killed Able before the Law was Given so Murder isn’t a part of the Law??? They can’t seem to get it that the LAW was given to implament actions for Murder and the TITHE???

I’m pondering this subject! If we link the “Tree Of Knowledge” and the “Tithe” as the LORD God’s Personal Possessions, I would argue that One Day of Seven also belongs to the LORD God?
When we talk of the Tithe we obviously Spiritualize the Tithe to demonstrate how that part of the LAW OF MOSES relates to us, right? In order to Spiritualize properly it seems to me we should understand the Whole Tithe, to get it right.
Here are some Passages relating o the Biblical Tithe.

Lev 7:20 But the soul that eateth of the flesh of the sacrifice of peace offerings, that pertain unto the LORD, having his uncleanness upon him, even that soul shall be cut off from his people. �

Deu 26:13-14 Then thou shalt say before the LORD thy God, I have brought away the hallowed things out of mine house, and also have given them unto the Levite, and unto the stranger, to the fatherless, and to the widow, according to all thy commandments which thou hast commanded me: I have not transgressed thy commandments, neither have I forgotten them: I have not eaten thereof in my mourning, neither have I taken away ought thereof for any unclean use, nor given ought thereof for the dead: but I have hearkened to the voice of the LORD my God, and have done according to all that thou hast commanded me.

It seems to me we have to offer The LORD God’s Portion of what he gives us with the same attitude that we take part in Communion? In the Spirit and Flesh we have to be Right, which the BLOOD OF JESUS accomplishes!

This Passage, to me, indicates that the TITHE is not MONEY? Then when I combine the Priests (Pastor and Preachers to us) are not to have an Inheritance I conclude the Spiritual Leadership avoids the Greed and Cares of this World! They have to have FAITH in the LORD God to guide his people to do what the BIBLE says!
The Tithes also included the Wool from Sheep (clothing)!
The Free Will Offering of Gold and Silver was for the Upkeep of the Temple!
Yes, I believe each Church should provide everything for it’s Pastor. A Parsonage, Car, Fuel and insurance! A Clothing Allowance! The Best Food and Clean Water! Then His Retirement among that Church, not in a Old Folks Home! And So On!

The TITHE is a Part Of The Laws Of Moses!!! Hopefully I haven’t presented to much, and Acts 15 and 21 make it clear that Non Hebrew Believers living in a Non Hebrew Society can’t be expected to Keep ALL the Laws Of Moses because they CAN’T!!! Those living in Non Hebrew Societies that are to Keep some or ALL of the Laws Of Moses will be Led By The Holy Spirit!�
